Tiblow Trot COVID-19 Update

Hi Friends. We hope you are well and safe. Our Tiblow Trot Team continues to follow the CDC and WHO safety practices, in addition to working with the Bonner Springs Chamber of Commerce Tiblow Days Committee, and will make our decision to have the Tiblow Trot race by July 15th to be an In-Person or as a Virtual Race.

For over 40 years, this race has raised funds for Bonner Springs High School scholarships and for the Rotary Polio Plus Program to end polio worldwide. We still need your support to make this happen. During this time, we encourage you to register for this race and are offering a special $19 registration fee. You are welcome to make an additional donation as you complete your registration form.

It’s important to still stay active while social distancing. Per the experts, exercise supports our physical health, however, during times of crisis such as this, it is the first activity we tend to ignore. Being active can not only keep us healthy, it can also help us fight off infection. Exercise is also unique in that it can boost our mental health, and during this anxious time, it’s more important than ever to keep our minds clear and focused. So, please, get outdoors and enjoy some sunshine while practicing 6ft of social distancing.

It’s been incredibly heartening to see people coming together virtually all over the world to support each other. We hope to have your support for this race too. Our team will be in touch by July 1st on our plan to be an In-Person or as a Virtual Race.
